May is going to be an intense month for me. It’s a busy time for my day job and we are going to be short staffed for about half the month. I thought doing a peaceful spread for May will help me feel collected when I take a minute to write things down in contrast to the inevitable chaos.

I’m positive that I’m not alone when I say that being frustrated or having a bad day is one of my least favorite feelings. Sometimes when I’m frustrated, it feels like it will take FOREVER to get resolution and I can’t get it off my mind. Whether my feelings are hurt a little or a lot, I wanted to have a letter to my future self that would be able to remind me about the positive things in a down situation.
Journaling and DIY’s are so connected to my mood. There have been a lot of changes and challenges lately and with these come excitement and potential… BUT… remembering to acknowledge the negative and celebrate the positive is IMPORTANT. Whether it’s finding something that feels uncomfortable on the TV, news or in personal or professional life – sometimes being reminded to stay grounded and conscious of positivity feels VERY necessary.
